  The Wagon Wheel shut down in May of 2000, I believe. I was there on closing night, in pretty much the last game to be played in the room. (It was nolimit lowball... how's that for history?)
  
  I believe the R Club is also long gone, though I was never there.

  How about the Garlic City Casino (name ?) in - where else - Gilroy? I've heard it's still open. I imagine few septuagenarians playing lowball, and maybe the tightest $3/$6 limit HE game in the world... same old guys trying to win a nickel off each other.
